Art and the Space Between: Iran-Japan, January 6th, to February 7th, 2025, from 9 AM to 5 PM
The exhibition “Art and the Space Between: Iran-Japan” aims to strengthen cross-cultural comparative studies and to facilitate the exchange of ideas and the interplay of art and architecture along the Silk Road. The Unveiling of Two Rare Safavid Carpets (15:00-17:30 Thursday, Dec 26 / 2024): The Carpet Museum of Iran hosts a workshop and unveiling ceremony during Research Week. The event will take place on Thursday, December 26th, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the museum at the intersection of Karger Shomali and Fatemi Streets. The event’s highlight will be the unveiling of two rare Safavid carpet fragments. This is a chance for the public to learn about the history of Persian carpet weaving and to see these exquisite pieces in person. The event is free and open to all.
